Just out this morning.Oriental Poppies took a beating this year.Damp,cold,wind.Many buda rotted and blooms were brief.
Everything else is OK

Love the Japanese Maple and the white iris. Lorrain Sunshine is great too. I feel like I'm just holding my breath now waiting for the daylilies and the lilies to get going.

Here's a gaillardia tht suprised me. I think it must be a cross between the regular ones and the takager.

the crossed gaillardia is very pretty! I love how the color varies on the volunteers, on rudbeckias as well. Love the delphiniums, never have had any luck though so I just admire other's.

I guess I did not know there was such a thing as early phlox. Will have to look into this , I like phlox but I only have the tall garden type and they will not bloom till much later .

Same here. I dont see any buds on paniculatas.David was the first tall phlox for me.I expect about the end of June the blooms will come.
