Please share your favorite combinations with Heuchera/Heucherella. Here are two of my favorites:

I think I ordered that one from Bluestone last year or the year before. I love that plant. Oooops...It may be called 'Black Dragon.' I will have to look for the tag tomorrow. They look so similar too.

I just love them all mixed up - in the spring, especially the chartreuse colored ones mixed with the peach, gold and purples!

They've really begun to show their great spring color over the past week!

H.'Southern Comfort' may be my new favorite this week...

Beautiful beds. Are yours getting a fair amount of sun? Does anyone grow them in full sun and how do they do?

I have a group in full sun , all ones with Villosa in their background and they do very well. The lighter ones like Southern Comfort do not keep their color as well as the ones in partial shade but the dark ones like Mocha and Blackout do very well. The ones in full sun as much larger then the shaded ones.

Wow, I NEED Delta Dawn - have that on the list!
The crazy weather this year has led to a little bit of early "leaf sunburn" for those with that predisposition. Citronelle seems the worst here, although I've seen a bit on Tiramisu. These are both in areas that get less than half sun! Colors are not quite as vivid as they were a month ago. Here are pics of that area taken earlier this week.

I have about half a dozen nice heuchs in a back bed ( full sun) and they all will be moved, mostly because they are hidden from view where they are. They're going into an area that's half shade, once I get some campanula cleared out.

Two are in a back border where they get almost full sun, and they do very well. They are heucherella 'Sweet Tea' ( although some in nearly full shade seem happy too.) and Heuchera 'Pewter Moon.' The Pewter Moon has been in this bed for years and I've divided it over and over.
Here's the bed where those are ( taken earlier this week.)

Your gardens are gorgeous Julie. Thanks for the advise growing in sun or part sun. I killed a number of heuchera a few years ago because of putting them in too much sun, so have been a little leery, but it sounds like there are lots more sun tolerate ones around then there use to be.

A few of mine. I have many of my heuchera in pots. If you visit the containers forum this is a repeat.
