Nice! I have buds, more and more showing everyday - but no TB's open yet. I am guessing Olympic Challenge (always my first TB) will open this weekend while I am gone - unless the expected frost for tomorrow night screws things up

Pretty seedling ~Jan

Tom -- I didn't take any pictures of Iris Lane this year (except the pictures from my kitchen window, early on). The reason is that I wasn't happy with it. The Irises that I thinned and transplanted last year were sparse-looking, and the ones I didn't get to were over-crowded. And all of them were leaf-spotty, etc. They all managed to put on a pretty good show of blooms, but I spent my time taking photos of the Irises that were new to me this year. As it turned out -- there were quite a few of those!!

I still have quite a few pictures that I haven't posted yet -- just haven't had time to organize myself and get to that. But I will.

When you say you have two more weeks of work -- do you mean for the year? Or are you retiring again?

Jan, I hope it doesn't freeze! It's in the 50's by me this morning, and drizzly.

Mary Ann, I'm finished for the school year, and I don't think I'm going to return next year. They want to make the job full time, and I just don't feel like I have the energy, time or desire to work full time. I'm waiting for your pictures!

Thanks Arlyn, Siva Siva is a Gibson 1962 and I have a large bunch of it that needs to be moved, so you can add this one to your list if you like. In fact, both of them are going to be moved.

I just popped out to check something and noticed IB Dark Forces blooming.

It is a pain, John can't cut the grass, we can't weed & I can't make crosses. last year we were complaining about drought. MN is a naughty girl.
