Susan - I like ferns with my hosta/heuchera beds. The textures of the ferns are quite different from the hostas and heuchs.

Yes Susan I think I love ferns as much as the heucheras and hostas.

I am working on that hillside this year. I started with the top garden and working my way down. I need to separate some of the hostas and ferns so I will move some of them and I have been catching the sales for some bushes.
