All of these are in large pots. So much of what I have now is since these are the things that will go with me when we move (depending on how far that move is, if it's 800 miles, then they don't go). Most of the 'beds' on the property have been cleared now...too much to water and keep up. So, I'm really jealous, Sue, when I see how wonderful your anchusa azurea is looking! Mine is in a pot, but blooming, so I will have seeds from it if it does not 'travel'.

My "Shooting Stars" hydrangeas are looking better than ever, especially considering that they've been in large pots for their third year now (no good spot shaded for them in the ground). I also don't remember the blooms having the slight pink tinge before this year...

The Variegated Lacecap Hydrangeas are doing okay considering that they get far too much overhead sun this time of year and have not been fertilized either...

The Oakleaf Hydrangeas in pots look better than the ones in the ground. The ones in the ground went into what had been very packed soil, previously beneath asphalt...

My calamondin tree enjoyed the 2 days of intense yucky heat and shows lots of tiny buds:
Hoping the blooms proceed..I love its sweet jasmine-like scent Smiling

A first time bloom in our garden, got this plant seedling early May this year:
Asclepsias curassavica 'Silky Deep Red'

Thumb of 2013-06-10/tarev/ebaf64

Semp arachnoideum also in full bloom, relishing it before that cone goes bye bye. Glad it is a succulent, not fazed by any heat event:

Well...yes, being white and night blooming, it should be fragrant....and it says that it is.....I was not out there last night, but it's quite overcast today, so it should still be fragrant....but I'm not detecting a scent.

The Lady of the Night brunfelsia holds its blooms quite well. It still has the same bloom that opened, not diminished at all by the passage of 3 days.
Is the hymenocallis fragrant? It's one that I've somehow never gotten around to growing.
