Forsythe Pots are really great for rooting cuttings in Vermiculite because the Vermiculite stays evenly moist. They are very simple to make. Just get one large pot, I use plastic for the large one and a small terracotta pot with the hole plugged up so it will hold water. You just dump moist vermiculite in the pot and bury the terracotta pot in the center. You'll need to plug the hole so water will stay in the terracotta pot. Just keep water in the terracotta pot and it keeps the vermiculite evenly moist. I used two small pots that didn't have holes in them. Just make sure your terracotta pot isn't finished with lacquer or some other waterproofing stuff - it needs to 'sweat'. Add water to the terracotta pot as needed.
Also check daily for mosquito larvae and if you see them just dump out the water/larvae and add new.
