Aphid Repellent

Crushed garlic or cayenne pepper flakes will repel aphids on plants.

While searching for ideas on how to keep spider mites away, I found a suggestion to have garlic plants in the garden. Say no to spider mites! Say no to aphids! hehe Big Grin I agree

Yep, that's what I do ... it's also supposed to keep squirrels from digging and planting their acorns etc. but so far it hasn't worked in repelling those tree rats!

I also use a mixture of water, dishwashing liquid soap, alcohol and tabasco sauce..vs. nasty aphids.

Ill have to try it, the ants keep herding aphids onto certain flower stocks on my succulents! Dont want to use bug spraym might make the humminbirds or lizards sick.
