My Blue Dawn Morning Glories....I know that many say they get totally invasive, but I don't have much of a problem here. Perhaps because we get so little water and perhaps because the gophers like them also.

The Indian Clove basil...flowers are not very significant, but the scent of the plant is wonderful...grows to about 6' tall.

Sherry, I love your morning glory, but they really do fine with no water, and you need lots of room for them...away from the house. I had to remove mine when it started coming IN the house on the washer drain and the water heater gas line. Never plant one near a mobile home...trust me. Big Grin

I really miss mine, but I can still see the ones that escaped, peeking over the wall behind me, and I still have I. cairica, which gets weekly(or more) hair cuts to keep it under control.

The Night Blooming Jasmine is in flower, but alas, no pic....lol..Smells heavenly, though there are plenty who disagree with that 'scentiment'...lol..

edited to add pics. I went out and stamped through the undergrowth to get a couple of pics and it was worth it as when up close, I could still smell their fragrance even in the light of day....lol..

Good time for the succulents, huh? I was just thinking today that with the heat we've been having, I have very little blooming...kind of in-between, waiting for Fall.

Yeah, glad to have some succulents in bloom Smiling This summer I have stepped up watering for succulents or otherwise..and saw good improvement on their growth. Before I just use the definition of drought tolerance way too much Hilarious!

I wish I could too. Smiling

Speaking of delicious smells, I tried a new drink a couple of days ago -- a cucumber margarita with coriander and salt around the rim of the glass. It tasted great and it smelled divine!

It also had healthy connotations, so I felt quite virtuous drinking it. Big Grin

It took a very inventive mind to think that one up....trying to imagine it, but...hmmmm....although it's been in the high nineties here for over a week now and forecast to be so for at least the next 10 days with next Saturday aiming at 102, so I think I could probably down quite a few Margaritas, so yeah, throw in a cucumber one also....
