Nothing, as usual! I've been too busy to do anything. I gave them a little Plant Tone in the planting hole when I planted them, and a little fish fert once or twice after that.

I bought them as nice, big healthy plants in 6" pots.

Beautiful display Karen. Did you start all those from seed?

No, I bought the red ones this year. They were already big, healthy plants filling 6" pots. Each was originally $8 but on sale for $6 each when I bought them. The tray on the left.

The huge pink one in the pot was one that I started from seed last year. I dug it up and overwintered in the house, under lights. That's one plant in the pot. The pink one beside the pot is another that I overwintered inside.

I just love them..I have both colors and try and winter them over for the following spring.....
Sometimes just in water, I like them in the center of a large pot with other flowers around them.
Wonder if I cut them way back in a pot if they would sprout back up nice and then wouldn't have the big flower to drop flowers all winter?? What ya think???

Not sure but sounds like a good idea. Give it a try this year and report back in the spring.

Beautiful pictures of beautiful Begonias Karen! I tip my hat to you.

I'm also a huge fan of these even though mine are in pots now. You have inspired me to move some into the ground!

I just discovered this kind of Begonia this year and have been loving them! If our dog (and his visiting friends, long story!) would stop stepping on them, they would be bigger instead of smaller. The floods earlier this summer weren't helpful either. I think I'll be looking for these in place of wax B's next year. Just as easy to grow, but so much bigger. There's some cuttings in pots that will come in for winter, but I know I'll want more, more, more!

Do you folks think this cute little guy I got at a swap recently is a DW? It's making the cute fluffy flowers with extra petals. I thought it was a wax until I saw them.
