Last year, I planted my heucheras in the fall and they came through winter just fine. So far, they have made it through the summer, but we have had a cooler summer than usual and summer is not over.

What is the correct time to plant heucheras ?

For me Spring for any size plants and dividing and Fall I only put in 4 inch pot or larger sized ones , no plug sized.

Thank you.

I guess I was lucky the plants had a decent root ball when I planted them.

Our local nursery only caries a few varieties, so it looks like I am going to have to purchase plants via mail order to satisfy my lust for different foliage.

Smiles,
Lyn
