I got NO guesses from the plant ID forum, so I brought my question to the sedum forum....

I bought a flat of this this week and it was labeled "Voodoo"
But it's not.
And I didn't see anything that looks like it in the plant database.....
Anybody know?

Note the little yellow flowers, yes they ARE attached.

It looks to be a Sedum acre. But not sure.

I can't match it to anything anywhere....

We may have to see photos throughout the year. They can change in appearance due to weather, soil and water conditions.

It looked a lot like S. album, but that doesn't have yellow flowers.

Yes, I did think about Album when I was searching... But ruled it out for the flowers.
I hope it doesn't change too much - I'm planning to do patterns with it and Angelina!

That might be it. Lets watch it so see how it develops. If it is Chocolate Ball it will a very dark chocolate color in full sun. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Hi CG, Your sedum looks like an album of some type, not a rupestre - which has ball shapes as the new growth begins. Rupestre has a more feathery look than yours. There are many hybrids of album, so I think you just have one of those. Its a nice one
