Just got a new baby and would love to hear from anyone who has ever propagated the Chimeras, since it is different from the regular African Violets.

JB: I don't know anything about propagating African Violet Chimera's but Rob's (Violet Barn) has a tutorial about it:

Thank you Lin, I have most of the information you mentioned but I wondered if anyone here on ATP actually tried any of the methods both Rob and Lyndon suggested. Thanks for the other threads I will check them out;

You are very welcome! I used to grow AV's and a few other Gesneriads but never Chimera's. I remember folks talking about the Chimera's on another AV forum a few years ago but don't really remember anything about them.

Good information in those links and this thread for African Violets and Begonias. I have done begonias, but now going to try African Violet propagation too.
