i am now going to stop watering and going to put it in a cool place. I probally wont get flowers until after Christmas. I am so exited to see the blooms again. The Variety is Grand Cru and I brought It at lowes for 8 dollars. It produced 2 flower stalks with 4 flowers each, impressive for a cheap bulb, for the BIG ones cost 30 dollars Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Hilarious! Anyone else exited

Hi Rhamel, too soon for me to get excited, I stopped watering mine a couple of weeks ago, I have 8 bulbs, yet the leaves stayed nice and green on most of them, so I decided to remove them from the pots and take all of the dirt off, they are now drying on newspaper in the laundry room, it's cool and dark there. Once the leaves turn yellow I will cut them to about 2 inches, when totally dried I put them in a cool cabinet in the basement for 6 to 8 weeks. That's what I did last year with my 2 that I started with, I had fabulous blooms!

Unknown white seedling and Red Lion.

Edited because I posted the incorrect photo of Red Lion.

I just bought one at Wal*Mart for $7.00. Red Peacock. The last one I bought from them was a Red Lion that turned out to be orange and white! I quit buying them then, but thought I'd give it another try! This is something I can grow inside for blooms!
It's just beginning to peep out. Will it bloom before Christmas? I guess I need to buy another one and wait about 3 weeks before potting it!
