LOL, looks like we got ourselves all kinds of FP cafes' Steven. Great minds think alike! I really like the cubit you have created. The lavenders really pop! From one flowerpot cafe to another, hope to see you around.
How bout bringing that arrangement over to the table?

Great veggie tray Steven. When I saw you had started a FP cafe, I went back to the drawing board and just this morning built and furnished the Cutting Edge Lounge. I sent you a cmail link, hope to have you as a member. Now I'll grab one of your lovely rads and hit the road!

Glad I didn't ruffle your feathers Steven, I liked the FP cafe, but thought 2 would be too much here at the cubits. I like the name of the CEL, hope to see you there!
I love the idea of your database, it is coming along nicely. I cut back on the number of threads in my cubit, thought what Dave said was a good idea, start small and see what happens so just took the ones I had that seemed a bit outta the way off for a bit. We shall see how it goes.

So what's going on at the Cafe Steven. You busy workin outside already? How is your weather. I noticed today that my juniper is still crushed under a foot of snow, hope it isn't broken.

Its actualy been thawing out here, I found a snowdrop today! I took a pic now just need to load it onto the pc. Haven't been doing much yesterday or today. Out of nowhere I picked up the stomach flu. Must be 10 years since I had it last. Hopefully I'll be fine tomorrow though.........it seems to be leaving almost as quick as it came.

And for the meantime heres a cake I baked for the weekend(before I was sick) so please have a slice!

Thnak-you Candee, I'm feeling better today and am hoping to get out for a bit this afternoon. Its sort of 'warm' here today. Just above freezing.
The Divas are great and I love how they have their Cubit set up. Very Easy to get around.

Glad to see the Cafe is up and running! Don't mind if I have a slice of that cake. I helped myself to some coffee too.

Think I'll relax and hang out for awhile.

Everything looks great too!!

Good to see you here Christine! I moved the Cafe here after realizing it was kind of pointless for it to have it's own Cubit.

I'm forgetting now but you posted a cake(?) or a flan(?) here in the cafe before that looked really good. You wouldn't happen to have the recipie for it would you?

Heres a yellow cake I made the other day with creamcheese frosting and strawberry sauce. Drooling

Hi all! Does any one have any good easy summer recipes to share?

I have a super easy one for mint iced tea! All you need to do is boil your water pour into your pitcher with a few *large* sprigs of mint (I used chocolate mint), let steep for 10 or so minutes, remove the mint and iff you like add sugar to taste. Then chill in the fridge and enjoy! Its very refreshing on a hot day!

Oh I just haven't gotten by the cafe in so long! Some mint tea sounds really good, it's been so hot!!

And I do have that recipe for the Apple tart! I'll stop by later with it! And I made my mint icecream again and wrote down a 'recipe' so I'll bring it too!

Oh please bring them by! I'd love to make an apple tart with some local apples this fall! And the mint icecream sounds great too!

Anyone have a recipe for fried green tomatos? I'm sure I'll have plenty come end of season and it would be a shame to waste them!

Did you see there is a recipe for fried green tomatoes? See the articles on the front page, it's there!! Thumbs up

I recently made a green tomato and vidalia onion casserole that is quite yummy, the recipe was on the Food Channel.
