Thanks, but I was actually looking for a more specific temperature. The reason I ask is that even though I am in zone 7b/8 we rarely get temperatures below 20F. In last winter's mild beginning, the 'Byron Flynt' plant that I got from you, Kermit, continued blooming through mild freezes until January because the temperatures never fell below 28F. When temps went below 28F, it died back. We've had a strangely quick descent into winter this year, so it has frozen back already. That has been rare lately though and the mild freezing temps in the first half of winter are more common. In the future, I thought it might be fun to find some Salvia cultivars that can take some freezes and remain green and blooming, like 'Byron Flynt' did last year. It was so fun seeing those big blue blooms on the dreary winter days.
