Trying to get caught up here. The trip to GA was great. It's always good when we can spend time with the kids. DIL and I spent time beading together and also visiting the local bead stores. DH and son also had some time together and the four of us had dinner at The Oar House in Dahlonega. All of us left stuffed!
The trip back to Hot Springs Village on Monday was somewhat of a challenge. We kept watching the temperature as it dropped into the 30s, and a couple of times it reached 31, but we were lucky and got back without having to encounter slippery roads.
@flaflwrgrl yes, we do travel up I-75 on our way back to AR or GA.
Our next adventure will be traveling by car to Arizona to spend time with our kids at Christmas.
@plantladylin, My DH does most of the driving, too, however, once in awhile he does let me drive in Mississippi. It's a 4-lane highway with little traffic. I don't do Interstates or cities!
We won't be getting back to FL until about the middle of January so I suppose by that time anything that is going to get killed will be long gone. We have some phaius in pots that I am concerned about, but the last time we had freezing temps, they came back.
