Hi! I love wildflowers. I would be happy to put together wildflowers of mid-Atlantic region. I have many picture and can collect many more over this growing season if you would like. I also will have some seeds to offer.

Hello Treehugger and welcome to the Wildflowers forum!!

We would love it if you would write some articles for our Wildflowers week.
Go ahead and pour your heart out telling us about the beautiful flowers of your region, there is so much to learn everywhere!!

You can also post pictures, comments, or start threads in our regular forum, that would be great!!

Hoping to hear from you often, Smiling
Josephine.

It was fabulous last year. You guys sure did do a fabulous job.

I doubt I could do an article though as I have very limited experience with wildflowers. But at least I have lots of time to think on it.

My "wildflowers" gardens tend to be full of 4'clocks, zinnias and sunflowers. So not exactly real wildflowers.

I think of wildflowers as meadows and the kinds of flowers one would see growing between the grasses. I wish I had room for a real wildflower meadow.

Well, I am not sure either. it is so early that it seems premature, but I guess you can never be too prepared.
What is the coordinator supposed to do? I suppose to keep track of articles submitted and make sure there are no duplications? Smiling

You need to drum up articles and remind people to contribute. For roses week moderator started a post called Roses Week February 2014. Just like you did for this thread on Wildflowers week. Then asked for volunteers to do articles. People volunteered with a subject they would write about and it was posted in the thread. Plus reminders were posted to get your articles done.

The thread "Rose Week, February 2014" in Roses forum
