They are painfully slow at this stage...it drives me nuts!

I've come to feel rather deprived...lugging around ancient species...knowing so much more is locked in those genes!

I've got good portora blooms still but everything else was in ground this year so it's all flopped and not even got leaves much less a bloom, I guess I need to go back to growing these guys in pots again to cross em. Colocasia more fast enough I can get a few inflo. to take, which is more than I can handle anyways, without a better greenhouse.

There's a alocasia Mac. that I know of that would certainly replace the big green uprights we all know. You can't tell em from the others except for its growth rate, which is astounding!
It's likely to never make it to market because of it's very similar look to odora and the Macs...
