I hope you all had a great Christmas. I cannot believe we are looking at 2014, can you?

I had a deicer go on Christmas day. I was so thankful that I had put in 2 deicers. I put the new deicer into the pond last night and noticed that the hole from the new deicer is much larger than the deicer that was there. I am wondering if the larger hole is because the deicer that was there was failing or because it is warmer outside. I suppose it could be combination of both.

I am already missing sitting out pondside.
