Wanted to show another of my babies......
I was fortunate to get this as a Very small plant about a year ago. It really didn't do a whole lot for a while but now is really taking off. It's a 6 in. hanging pot right now but I'm planning on moving it to "something" so that I can allow it to hang sideways. Growing in a mix of fine Orchid bark, Tree fern fiber, and perlite.

Hi Drew,
I know I can't wait !! The one leaf there in the front is over 18in. long now.
I get it from Hicks Orchid Supply in Orlando. I get it when they are up at E.F.G.'s fall Plant show which is a stone's throw from me.
They don't have a website, but here's their phone number. 407-679-9266 They can send you a catalog.

MJ, have a look at the photo at the top of this page at Exotic Rainforest Anthurium pseudospectabile. Steve's hybrid bears some similarities to yours, upright petioles and venation.

Wow indeed! I just started getting into Anthurium last year. It's jaw dropping the number of species that exist!

Evan sure looks like the hybrid. I got my plants from a fellow in CA, so I'll ask him about it, but I'm sure your right.

I was looking at both and to me the Lateral veins on the Hybrid due not curve at their ends at the leaf edge? Just my observation Evan.

I was reading the description on CATE.

interprimary veins almost as conspicuous as primary lateral veins, flat to weakly sunken above

From the person I got my plant from.

pseudospectabile is a Panamanian species, propagated vegetatively from a
collection in the Fortuna Dam area of Panama.
In the past, a number of plants have been sold in south Florida, especially, that were A. pseudospectabile
hybrids. These came from a verified A. pseudospectabile."
