Here are a few pics of my Harbor Freight Greenhouse
This first picture shows were it is situated in relation to my house.
It is facing with the back wall to the North, the door to the South.
It is sited on the East side of my house, partially shaded by trees to the East,
as well as my neighbors privacy fence.

In the second picture I show how I mounted the heater.
I cut the plywood to fit, predrilled the holes.
I then slid screws (headside in the tracks on the upright pieces
on the North side. This left the threads facing out, spaced them,
then slid the plywood onto the threads & fastened with washers.
I ran the gas line from under my house where the line had been
capped off from removing a wall heater in the living room.
Simply elled over, drilled through the wall, ran the pipe.....
then had it professionally hooked up, haha

This just gives a whole picture of the heater after installation.

A few more notes.
I have also installed bubblewrap for insulation.
With the heater mounted up off the ground (to keep moisture at bay)
you need a fan to circulate the heat which will collect in the upper half
of the GH & leave the bottom cold. Using just a boxfan, I have had no
problems or lost any plants, & I have the thermostat set on 2.
This fall I also installed pavers & filled the gaps with pea gravel.
New this fall as well is a shade cloth which has helped regulate temps,
Hope ya'll enjoy, Rick

Thanks Rick, Now I have a better picture of how you mounted the heater. Just wonderful will be doing the exact same thing in the next few days, weather willing. Expecting the cold front down here tomorrow with winds up to 55 mph, high of 46 and low of 23 with snow flurries at times. WOW. Thanks once again, James

Rick, I like your set up. We have a place to tap into a gas line at our house so we're thinking we'll do the same thing. Where did you get your heater? Do you know approx. how much you paid for it? We're using a quartz heater now but I'd prefer a gas one.

Hello Arlene,
I got mine from Lowe's.
That was 2 years ago, so I am guessing around $200.
Sorry I can't be more precise.
I went with gas because of all the ice storms.
We have had 3 hit Oklahoma over the last 8 years.
With power being out for at least a week at at time.
Not sure how I would circulate the heat if the power goes out to my fan.
But at least I wouldn't be totally in the cold.
Hope this helps.

Hilarious! Hilarious! I just got a visual of you standing in your GH, fanning away! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Hmm, we don't really lose power much but I thought since we have capacity to do gas, I would rather. Does it have a thermostat? I couldn't see one in the photo. Must be some way to regulate the temp?

Arlene,
the only setting on the heater is a number system from 1 to 5
I keep mine set on 2 & have never had any issues.
With the fan circulating the heat & a shade cloth it stays comfy.
Not to hot, not to cold.

Rick, glad others are also finding your heater set up to be great. The heater come on and off with the dropping or rising tem. If I have the same on as you do? This one I have also came from Lowes. I don't know if you have had any trouble with the ignitor, but they are famous for going out quit often. And you can only get them from mfg. They run around 25.00 to 30.00 each. And due to the glass front not to easy to light the pilot with a match but it can be done. Hope the info. helps. James
