It is above freezing, but there isn't much of a melt going on. Tomorrow it's back to the teens days and single digits night for a bit, but perhaps warmer next week end.
Yeah, it's a bit of a heart breaker. I got so excited to see the peaches and the walnuts starting to bloom, but then I get sad thinking I may lose everything. Last year we had a few days of snow in late April and the temps went well below freezing.

you have my sympathy. a couple of years ago, it got up into the low 80s for a couple of days, and the fruit crop was nearly destroyed. This year, I think we may be safe, it looks like a high of 9 tomorrow.
It was nice today and I took Lily out to the front porch for a while. Then she came inside and tore thru the house. Running around for all she is worth.
We've had a bit of a melt here.................and it's starting to "smell" less winter-y out...........anyone on a farm will know what I am talking about. It can't come soon enough for me.
Changed the clocks...........I LOVE daylight saving time. Probably the only one here that does; most on other groups I'm on are really gritching about it.
I love daylight savings too! I expect it to be dark for morning chores, but I like some light in the evening so that I can see the animals at least once a day.
I don't like the change back and forth, but I prefer the daylight distribution afforded by the daylight saving time to the standard time. I too live more by the sun than by the clock but evening sun is more useful to me than an early dawn.
