Really?? I man I hope so!! It was left in a neighbors yard (in the 5 gl. container still - dying for a drink of water) after they moved, my friend brought it to me, she had no where to plant it. I hate to see things die, as does she, I thought I would give it a shot, and its done wonderfully....I thought the leaves looked very similar to bottlebrush bushes I have, but not exactly, so wasn't sure what it was...been wanting one since I saw the most gorgeous one at Warrens Nursery in Kingwood. Thank you for your reply!

You are so welcome. The growth is new growth and I am not really sure when they bloom. There are several different Bottle Brush and I am really sure that is one. I absolutely love the smaller version called "Little John" It stays small and blooms almost all year long here in zone 9. I actually typed it was a bottle Brush before I read your post that you wanted it to be one Lovey dubby Hurray! Welcome!

After I read your reply, got home and checked the tree. And there were new evidence that it was indeed a bottle brush...no idea what color...would be very cool if it turned out to be white!!! I have several little johns...we love them.
Again...thank you!! I tip my hat to you.
