Sometimes we get excited about buds, and feed and water a little too generously. The buds are little piggies, they gorge themselves, get sick, and die. Booo. They over drink to the point that their cells burst. So do water, but sparingly.
Boron/copper/zinc/ comes in a soluble powder. I add it to fertilized water when I feed, weakly weekly. Except silly Valentine Rose, that one gets a teeny bit every other day. Whatta hassle! But without that much the buds do the spaghetti dance, get stingy and ugly. I brought home a spoonful from the giant jugfull at the botanical gardens, and use just a tiny pinch at a time. It's from a company named Hummert. I don't know the proper dose. But it's strong stuff. I haven't found a potting mix that has enough of the traces to keep all the plants blooming fully.
I don't know the name of this one.
