Heuchera cylindrica has yellowish-greenish-whitish flowers (and tends not to be grown in gardens all that commonly).
Could this photo please be moved to a general Heuchera entry?

@zuzu,
Could you please move this photo to the generic Coral Bells entry?
I can't select it using the "Move this image to another plant" function as it does not appear to be cross-referenced with the Heuchera species and cultivar list.
Thanks,
Lori

@Lori,

When trying to propose a move to a general entry, enter the parent entry plant ID number when prompted during the move process rather then a species name. It will come right up and you can select it from there.

Yes as Rob said, you have to find that parent plant entry first and then copy the ID# and insert it.

As a suggestion, wouldn't it be more logical (from the user's point of view) to create a link between the general entry and the species/cultivars so that both come up if either is entered?

Such a link does exist and if you are viewing the species or cultivar level plant, at the bottom you will find a link to the parent plant.

Or do you mean that it would be beneficial to have the parent plant appear in the search list when you're proposing a photo move?

I don't think I'm ready to alter the search system to add the general parent plant to the results, for a variety of reasons. Finding the general plant entry and using its Plant ID in the search result remains the fastest way to access it.

Okay, I finally figured out how to find the Parent Plant ID! Smiling It's not actually visible when using an iPad.
I eventually thought to give it a try on my laptop and was able to finally see it.
The address bar works differently on an iPad than on a laptop or desktop Mac, and all that shows in the address bar is " allthingsplants.com", while on a laptop or desktop, you see "allthingsplants.com/plants/view/232967/Coral-Bells/" (with the part from the first backslash onward greyed out).
