Toby is the author of the book 'Gaia's Garden' which I love. This podcast is sure to be a great listen.

“Rather than becoming a permaculturist, apply permaculture to the things that you are really passionate about and your really skilled at.”

“Find people who are profiting doing that thing that you want to do with a permaculture twist and work/help/support or be mentored by them.”

“Arrive a technique, don’t impose a technique.”

“How do you know you’re on the right track? When resources start to gather around you.”

“When you’re doing work of value, people will support you in a variety of ways, not just money.”

Gaia's Garden is a basic permaculture guide book. I read it over and over again.

I wish you had closed captions or a written transcripts for the pod casts. With out them the pod casts are inaccessible to hearing impaired individuals such as myself.

That's not my podcast. I just linked to it. As for transcripts of a podcast, I don't know of a single podcast that does it because there's not enough in the budget to hire someone to transcribe the whole thing.

Yes. I guess it is a problem. Non-hearing impaired probably don't realize how frustrating it can be to lose access to information presented only in audio form. I notice You Tube does present transcripts but they are automatically transcribed without a human editor. Most that I have read are not even useful, since they don't resemble the original speech.

I wonder how Dragon Dictation would work simultaneously with speaking on a podcast??? Might be all mumbo-jumbo, but maybe it would work?

What is Dragon Dictation? I wonder if that's what You Tube uses to produce their transcripts?
