I was referred to this forum. Can anyone help me with this Hosta name. It has an unusual flower bud each year.

montana Aureomarginata. One of my favorites and you've gotten a nice picture of the distinctive flower bract on this one. Watch this one as it will tend to come up early in the Spring and may need some protection from a late frost. But it's a great plant.

Is it the reflexed bracts that are indicative of montana vs. sieboldiana

Very stunning. You take great pictures. I can't wait for mine to bloom.

I'm trying to finish putting names to my plants before I start taking new pictures and noticed that Hosta 'Praying Hands' seems to have the same flowering habit. Am I wrong?

I am thinking the flower does not really have the same characteristics as the Montana, but sure is a beautiful plant!

Your pictures are gorgeous, Great photography.
