Just wondering, is there any reason I shouldn't use Quick Start on my young sedum transplants when they go into the ground? Greg brought up a good point that I hadn't considered regarding semps.
Anything like that to worry about when using Quick Start on sedum transplants?

Thanks,
J.C.

Hi J.C. I just found this post.
I'm not much help with advice on this topic, as I don't fertilize my semps or sedum. I like them to get going at their own pace.
I am sure there are many here that do fertilize with great success.
@springcolor Maybe Julia has some advise on this subject?
@goldfinch4 Chris might also have some information on fertilizing sedum.

Sorry, I can't help here. I've never fertilized mine either.

No, don't fertilize either. Going to try a bit of quick start on my semp. seedlings. I did top dress my tall sedum with compost one spring and they looked much better.

Okay, thanks all. I will just save the Quick Start for the honeysuckle, etc.
I was mainly wondering because I'm going to have nearly a full bottle of Quick Start left over. Sticking tongue out

I'm using it in the greenhouse very diluted on annuals and such. Will also use when planting out in my containers to get things established this spring.

You could always experiment with a few plants JC and let us know the results. Smiling Would be good information to share here with others.

Once I have more established plants to fall back on, I'll experiment more. But right now they're not even big enough to take cuttings, so if I kill them they are just gone. Sticking tongue out
