Disocactus ackermanii shows up in the group. Is it because of the synonym C. ackermanii, even though it's in genus Disocactus?

Yes, Lin. If Cereus is listed as a synonym, the entry with the accepted name will show up in a Cereus browse.

That's exactly right Lin. All entries with genus Cereus in a botanical name field will show up.
