It is another early bloom season here in Utah. These are planted along a south wall and things in open beds will not be in bloom for some time. I am anticipating 2 plus months of bloom.

Lucy......I fear that there are not very many who share our passion for the little ones. Little response to this thread so I don't think I will bother to add more pictures. Seems to be more interest in noids and "historics" than Medians.

I think Paul, that everyone is out in their gardens and not at the computer as much these last few days. I love the little guys and am very impressed with your collection, My little ones started blooming last week and I have been posting them in the thread 'lets get this show on the road'. If you decide not to post the little guys here please post the to another active iris thread. I love to see the blooms.

Keep posting Paul, I love them all little to big! We have more freezing weather coming shortly, so it's going to be a long haul before anything blooms here.

Paul -- I am dipping my toe in the SDB waters this year for the very first time. A very lovely person here on our Iris lists is going to get me a little Iris called Sparks Fly!! It's a beauty -- and I'm pretty excited about this.

So don't stop posting your little guys. If I have one cultivar of these, I'm going to need others (I'm anal about balance, etc.). How will I know which ones I want to get if you don't post yours???? Green Grin!

Paul I enjoyed your pictures today, we are extremely busy with work right now so have not had time to enjoy the computer but it was nice to look at something new and to see bloom somewhere even if it was on a 3" x 3" phone :big grin: on lunch break, our weather has been great this week so mine are starting to wake up but we are a good 5 to 6 weeks before they bloom. Keep your pictures coming !! My favorite of these is Scream awesome color.

Paul,

I love your SDB's. I don't really grow any here, because usually it doesn't get cold enough for them here in Fort Worth TX. The little ones are my favorites. Since SDB's don't do well for me, I have many intermediates. Although I see that after this crazy winter, some of my very favorites are not going to bloom at all. I saw one flower on Furioso (intermediate) and I have it in three places out there. It always blooms and is my favorite. Many of the ones blooming right now have very sparce bloom, it is a puzzle.

Paul2032,
I have never even seen a dwarf Iris, but don't stop posting, the more exposure the more people will see how pretty they are. I was actually thinking of trying to find some pretty small ones and that 'Lost Art' really appeals to me. I think many people don't even know they small ones exist!
