The way these are shown on my list is not the way I would like them to look. Can someone help me make some changes in the ones that I have? I added the link so you could see they are actual plants. Thank you. I think it is a matter of removing them and re adding them. Just need to be sure they are in the database.

@zuzu When I try and put Cape Primrose Streptocarpus Indi in the database another plant comes up called Indigo something.

Jacquie, you already added those two plants to the database successfully. Your proposals were approved and the entries were created, so why would you be adding them again?

Do you mean that you were searching for them and got the Indigo something and Miracle something? When new entries are created, it takes from 15 minutes to half an hour for them to be recognized by the search engine. It's better to look for the plants on the alphabetical Streptocarpus pages in those cases, or to follow the link provided in the personal message informing you that your proposal to add a new plant has been approved.

Zuzu, I did not try twice to list them in the database, I wanted to put them in my list and they would not come up on the database list as the names I requested. BTW there are several Mira's the one I listed was a Polish hybrid...do you want to make it more specific or just let it go? I think I put Polish in it when I requested it be added. It is up to you but they both look very different but have the same name, just different people developed them.
I will try again to list them in my list.

So, when you said: "When I try and put Cape Primrose Streptocarpus Indi in the database," you meant "when I try to put Cape Primrose Streprocarpus Indi in my list." Okay. I see why you had the problem. I'm glad you waited for a while and were able to add it.

I deleted the "Polish" from Mira's name because it isn't really part of the cultivar name. You can add a comment to the entry to identify it as the Polish hybrid. If you ever decide to add the other Mira, send me a request by tree-mail. The system won't let you add a cultivar with a "duplicate" name.

@zuzu I do not have the other Mira but I was thinking of someone else who is now on Cubits that may eventually come here to add to this database. They have some really great streps on that forum and I feel sure they will venture over here eventually. At least some of us will. But, until then, not to worry. I have already added comments on each of the entries. It is interesting to know that many of the streptocarpus names have the person who created them as part of their cultivar name...this may be a real problem in the future. We will see. Another way to find a plant that you had personally added to the database is to look on your profile page and in your Plant Database Contributions, click on 'Plants'.
