I have five, 2nd year, grown from seed Clematis pitcheri available for trade. They are just coming out of dormancy. These are solid Zone 8 climbers. Except for very deep shade, they will grow and bloom in just about any light conditions.

The first picture is of the actual plants available for trade.

As always, interested in Zone 8 perennials as well as not too terribly invasive vines and climbers.

Anne, I'm interested...had some seeds and they germinated but didn't take.
Also would you still have the Jap. Lantern Hibiscus rooted cutting? Lost mine this winter...it was over 5 ft but got killed by the cold. Thus far none of my hibiscuses have shown any life - except the Texas Star.

I have these to trade: spiderworts, crocosmia, alstroemeria pulchella, and white rainlilies.
I think there is a self-rooted winter jasmine - Jasminum nudiflorum and a rooted cutting of blue sky vine.

I'd be interested in the alstroemeria pulchella and I do have Lantern Hibiscus rooted cutting but they are no where near being ready to mail off .. This time of year, everything in the greenhouse looks quite pathetic .. It will be at least a month until the Hibiscus are ready to go.

The Chinese Lantern is ready to go .. looks a whole lot better than they did a month or so ago.

I have 3 you can choose from - The one on the far left is the biggest but rather spindly but will bloom the soonest.

The middle ones growth is from leaf nodes .. secondaries. A lot bushier.

Personally I think the one on the right is the best because it's a primary growing tip. No secondary shoots at the moment.

The choice is yours. I don't ship off plants until Mondays though. Let me know which one you want.

Anne, wonderful - I would like two of the Jap. Lantern for the alstroemeria; what else would you like to trade for?
I would like to do a larger trade.

I will T-mail you.
