I had a queary about how one could apply to have a " Hibiscus" forum added to forum list?
I realize that it would fall under tropicals , but the Hibiscus is becoming a very valued and desired plant by many and would allow those to participate in a forum depicted for this Genus alone. Thereby making it easier for interested parties to gather and share information.
Could you please advise.
Thank you,
Rick

I'm always very happy to add a new forum as long as there is a desire for it. Ideally we'd have a good handful of members who like the idea and think they'd participate; they'd post their desire here and I'll create the forum.

Rick, I grow the hardy hibiscuses. I might be interested in a forum.
I garden for the pollinators.

I have a few, ranging from landscape varieties to exotic hybrids, and have a particular interest there. I lurk more than I participate, but I hope there is enough interest to have a Hibiscus forum. It's certainly one I would track.

It would be a wonderful way to help each other and for people to become more aware of what beautiful blooms they have.
Starting the Tropical hibiscus from seed is a rewarding experience.
I have Hardy Hibiscus and some Tropicals, including some seedlings which should bloom this summer.

It's done! I'm looking forward to seeing an increase in Hibiscus chatter. I love them, too.

Dave, aside from my thread in the Tropicals Forum announcing the new Hibiscus Forum, I see seven other threads in that forum with "hibiscus" in the title. Can those seven be moved over to the new forum?

I only grow one hardy hibiscus but it returns every year with no care at all, if we have a forum and I might learn how to care for it, then it might turn out to be a great plant. I have always thought I should have more of them.

Thanks Dave!

When I first started following ATP seriously, a Hibiscus forum was one of the things I was expecting/looking for. Glad to see it's here!
