I have been signed out of my account 3 times. I do not believe I did it but....

I am able to sign back in and one time I changed my PW which worked to sign back in.
I am confused is something going on

Are you deleting your cookies/browser history or is your browser set to delete your cookies/history when it closes?

NO, I did delete cookies yesterday, but I have been in and out of ATP since then ... no problem

I may know what happened I had a private window open checking my bank. I may have clicked on my favorites after signing out ... not sure .. maybe I went back and forth between active window and private window more than once.

It is the only thing I can think which might have happened.

That would definitely do it! Those "private windows" or incognito mode cause your browser to not save cookies, thus you can't stay logged in with that.

Knew it was probably something I did. When I first sent the msg I did not remember the bank episode. But on reflection..........

Well, I'd never even heard of a "private" window. So, what is that? Inquiring minds want to know!

On Foxfire, I open a "New Private window" from the file menu. It is supposed to not save browsing history. I did not know it blocked cookies, but overall not a bad thing.

Glad it was nothing big!

Not saving history is great for a browser, but I hate when my brain gets stuck in that mode!

Well, well. Learn something new every day. I'd never noticed that Private Window option. Thanks!

Just remember to sign out --- and not click back and forth -- unless your memory is better than is mine.
