Hosta from seed? in the Plant ID forum - Garden.org

Plucking weeds from hosta this morn, pulled one of these up thinking it was a Calla lily sprout.
Is this hosta seed sprouted? Just threw the flower stalks around last fall.

What luck is that

Early last year I tried to get hosta seed to grow, no luck. Broke off the flower stalks and threw around in bed and I have seedlings. Probably would have had more if I had not let my 2 hens run amuck all winter. They threw out plant tags and uncovered some hosta.
