I have a feature request that might be difficult or easy, popular or only-Rick-wants-it. I don't know.

Often I want to look up acorns that I gave to other members' posts, for example if I don't remember which post it was that they are thanking me for. As far as I know, there is no way to make a list of "all acorns" or "all thumbs" I gave in a certain date-range or forum.

It would require searching for posts where Member X (me) gave an acorn to Member Y, maybe with a date range like "last week" or "last month". The date range would ideally apply to when I gave the acorn, but could instead be the date of the post.

If I was adding a filter like "search only certain forums", it would usually be my whole list of "Favorite" forums.

I wouldn't give that feature a high priority, or even a medium priority, unless lots of other people wanted it.

If it existed, I would use it to browse for posts in forums I didn't usually follow, like "acorns given by Member Z in Forum F in the last year".

I never give acorns without also giving a thumbs-up (stands to reason that if I like something enough to award acorns, I must like it enough to give it a thumbs-up), so I can just look through my list of "thumbs-up given."

Thanks Zuzu! If I had ever noticed that that "thumbs given" number was a link to a list, I forgot it. Great! Now I don't need the 'acorn list", though it would be interesting to see what various members have given acorns to.

I wish I could filter or sort lists like "thumbs given" and "plant lists" by any column, like
"Recipient"
"Forum"
"Date"
"Status"
"Category"
Genus
specific database, like "Lettuce" or "Pea"

Yup! And it works.

Mmmm, it would still be niceish to be able to filter on name of recipient and "last N weeks".

I just open the list and use control/f to find the recipient's name.

Good point. The number of thumbs to any one person in any one month is pretty manageable.

Humm... I have not been doing it that way most of the time. I normally give an acorn as a higher reward than a thumb. Sometimes I will give a thumb then decide it is worth an acorn and go back and reward that. I hate to say it but my rewards normally depend more on how it applies to me and not how useful it might be to anyone else. Any how with my excellent memory I don't need a list.

Good advice above. I also never give acorns without also giving a thumb. I can see the value of giving extra options in the acorns report tool but that kind of thing must take a back seat on the back burner for now.
