My thanksgiving cactus is getting two buds on it in Late April. Is that normal?

I just saw a similar question on another gardening website altogether... seems like a couple other folks' TC are blooming too. I don't think it blooms based on the time of year, but the amount of sunlight versus darkness. I've had one that bloomed in the middle of June before. Oddest thing I've ever seen lol.

I do know that they are reported to be thermo-photoperiodic, meaning their bloom initiation is triggered by a combination of day length and temperature, with day length being the primary trigger.
