Sproingg! Worth the wait with those colors. How long long has it taken to get to blooming size for you mj? As I understand it, A. bulbifer can be more challenging to keep happy. Congrats!
Evan,
I got it in the spring of 2012, growing in a 4 in. pot about 6-7 (?) in. tall. Repotted it 3 times that summer. Grows in part sun/shade/sun and water/feed the heck out of it in the summer time.
EFG grows one outside in a big landscaped area in front of the greenhouse. Full blazing sun all day, but heavily mulched. I'm assuming on an automatic watering system. Stays in the ground all year. Get's HUGE. Next time I'm up there I'll try to remember to take a picture.
Oh...I've got pups coming up on X. Lime Zinger....let me know if you want one.
Elaine,
I stuck my nose right down in it. No stink. Even one night when I stuck it back in the greenhouse cause it looked like we were going to get a Frog Strangler with wind and next morning ....na da..........

Wowza! That's beautiful!

That's really neat! Glad they don't croak after blooming.
