I discovered this plant last year, but it had already bloomed. I went back today and found it in bloom. This is the first time I see one in bloom.
Amorpha fruticosa
Name: josephine Arlington, Texas (Zone 8a) Hi Everybody!! Let us talk native.
Jay, I have those growing in my yard, the bloom period is short, but they sure are pretty.

Seems to be very nice. And have a nice habitus, too. Never seen, at least in flower. Will be interesting to develop a forum for native bushes and shrubs good for landscaping.
Josephine, how looks the foliage throughout the year?
