This is a favorite vendor http://geraniaceae.com/cgi-bin...
They offer mostly hardy geraniums, they do not carry "any forms of Pelargonium x hortorum (zonals), P. x peltatum (ivies), or P. x domesticum (regals/Martha Washingtons)."

Shadyhill nursery is another source for Pels. http://www.shadyhill.com/ I agree with Sue, Geraniaceae is the best for hardy geraniums.

I was a bit surprised by your answer, Sue. Geraniaceae.com does indeed carry ivy pelargoniums (54 varieties) ,
regals-108 varieties, angel and pansy face-155 varieties, 4 Rosebud, 12 of the Unique variety, 129 species, and last but not least, my faves, 137 scented leaf!
True, no zonals, however. I just wanted to get this out there for future reference for anyone looking in the future.

It was not "my" answer, as you can see, I quoted directly from her website. Green Grin! She has since updated it to read "We are now growing some selections of Pelargonium x hortorum (zonals), a substantial collection of P. x peltatum (ivies), and many heirloom P. x domesticum (regals/Martha Washingtons)."

Sue, I first ran across Geraniaceae and Hobbs three years ago, and was so relieved to see some specialty pelargoniums nurseries around!
Cooks nursery closed many years ago, Shady Hills appears to be selling
mainly collections now? They used to have a printed catalog with hundreds of varieties. Logees has also changed, they still do mail order,
but don't have the extensive catalog they used to have.
It is really hard to find the older varieties anymore. I've grown the Rosebud and tulip varieties since the seventies, but, like the fancy leaf, I can't find them every year.
I just wanted to share the info, so future aficionados would know where to look! Group hug

Some day I hope to visit Geraniaceae, the owner, Robin, always sells at the annual Flower & Landscape show where I usually buy one or two but she opens her nursery up by appointment and is about 40 min. drive away.

You're so lucky! I'm so envious of your climate also!
I would love to grow pelargoniums in the soil all year round!
I live close to scented geraniums of Nebraska, but I don't know if they are open to the public.I will have to check that out. The previous owner, Papa Geno wasn't.
Maybe I can convince them to expand to carrying some fancy leaf, and other older types. I would love to have Distinction again!
