I will be visiting a friend in AL the fist week in June and we will be taking a trip to Nashville. Would love any suggestions on your favorite sites, hotels, restaurants, gardens, etc.
Besides Nashville what other cities would you suggest? Memphis?

Music Row in Nashville and Dollywood if you like amusement parks (you might even get a glimpse of Dolly Parton there),

In Memphis - Beale Street and Graceland (if you're an Elvis fan),

Chattanooga (http://www.chattanoogafun.com/...).

Those are a few.

Tee, do know anyone that stayed at the Opryland resort? Is it worth the $$? Do you know anything about the seating at Grand Ole Opry?

Thanks, Betsy

I have stayed at the resort. It's very nice. As to $/value ratio I guess it depends on how much time you are planning on spending at the resort. I didn't spend a lot time in the room so for us it was not worth it. You should be able to get tickets rather easily the day that you want to attend the Grand Old Opry but I would get them as soon as I knew which night I wanted to go. All of the seating is good and the last time I was there they freely let folks wander near the stage to take photos. It's been a few years so a lot might have changed with regards to both the resort and Grand Ole Opry experience.

Thanks, Dave.

We did get tickets to the Grand Ole Opry but decided to go with another hotel close by since
we will be doing lots of sightseeing and won't be spending time in the room. Looking forward to visiting the Hermitage,
Belle Meade, Belmont, etc.

Fall Creek Falls state park is a family favorite and I think they have cabin rentals. We use the Camper there and have not found a single bad campsite. LOVE IT!!
