Horizon
It closes up every night.

Sunny Girl
Beautiful flower but very limp stems. The bush is lovely and compact. It has a mild scent but smells like glue Sticking tongue out

This was supposed to have been Wladyslawa but isn't. This peony seems familiar to me. I know I've seen it recently in stores. Mild scent but pleasant.

Gorgeus blooms Pwin! I'm glad your bloom season has started. Keep those beautiful pictures coming. Horizon is stunning, how big are the blooms?

The season started a couple of weeks ago Whistling However, the blooms are far apart, so I waited till I had a few pics to post. Also, I lost a lot of buds because I had planted the roots too deep. :/ My largest started out with 13 buds and now it looks like only 1 will be blooming. Sad Horizon blooms are only 4 inches. Very cute. It was a gift with my order. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise as I'm not a big fan of singles, but I really like it. The website, where I got it, says it's better if it's staked, but even with a decent wind, it doesn't fall, so I don't know why it said that. (FrankRichards posted his mature Horizon on the forum.) It also came a week before Festiva Maxima. I'd like to input its bloom period on the files here, but does that mean it's week 3? On the website it is listed as week 4, but FM is EM which makes it week 4, right? Anyway, I'm glad you like it!

This one was planted in a pot. All its 3 blooms are opening which further supports the theory that the others were planted too deep. I can't wait to see how this one turns out. Ivory Escort:

My unknown fully open. I love it. Blooms a week before Mrs. FDR and is shorter.

Love the Coral Charm and the NOID. My CC did not bloom this year. I'm going to have to move it to a sunnier location in the fall.

Where did the NOID come from, maybe the seller will know what it is?

Love those pictures. Every evening they close up, and before a rain. Self preservation maybe.
Here is a few from my gardens today:

'Sunrise' a tree peony. First blooms on this one as it was newly planted last fall.

Thank you. Beautiful, magnolialover! Garden Treasure is just gorgeous. When I think of itohs to buy, that always makes it high on the list. I love how in the last picture the peonies are a surprise behind the front plants (sorry, I don't know what they are).

Annette, unfortunately, I got the unknown from a side nursery of a hardware store Smiling I think I can figure it out. I feel sure that I've seen it in stores. I might have to wait a year for it, though, since I live in a microclimate where my trees bloom earlier and herbaceous bloom later.

Kousa thought it looked a lot like Mrs. FDR. This is my Mrs. FDR.

They sure do look alike. Mrs. FDR's bloom is half the size. I don't know if that's normal or normal for a first year bloom. I'll look it up. Also, Mrs. FDR is taller with wider leaves , and it blooms a week later.

These are from the iris garden I had gone to over the weekend.

Love them all Pwin! Kopper Kettle has been on my wants list for sometime, and is not available in our local nurseries. I looked at it on the Adelman's site when I placed an order this weekend. It's too expensive!

Firm stems. Upright posture. Lovely peony.

Yes, Copper Kettle isn't cheap here either. I had one at my last house, but I had left it there :/

'Courage' new for me, can't wait for it to become established. Soft pink with delicate mottling and lovely aroma!
