Our much loved and appreciated Peter (banker07) has passed away.

We give you, unfortunately the sad news to hear that the Peter (banker07) has died.
He died unexpectedly on June 2, 2014 of heart failure.
Peter was co-founder of Sempervivum list and the focus of our team.
We have lost a great friend Peter.
Work on the Sempervivum list, we will continue in its meaning.

Oh my goodness, I am just in shock. How very sad. He will be missed by many, many, many people.

A very vital voice for the sempervivum world is now silent. So sorry for all those who knew and loved Peter.

What a shock to hear about this. He was such a valuable and kind member here. Condolences to his family and friends. For sure we will miss him on the Semp Forum here.

I am in shock. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends.
I was never able to meet him, but I really respected his work. His dedication and knowledge of semps was amazing.

Such sadness....he will be greatly missed.

Peter was like a treasure to us. We sought from him information and guidance for something we all loved. His enthusiasm was the bonus that he gave us and he will be much missed for the giving man that he was.

How true your words are Bev. Thank you for the post, and all the others that have posted how they feel about our Peter.
We have lost a treasure, but a treasure that has left behind a part of himself.

Trixi, from Peter's team, is going to send us a write up on Peter's life. As soon as I receive it I will post it here in this thread.
