On various threads in the daylilies forum, people often post a thumbnail picture which is a direct link to one of the database photos. The thumbnail is presented as a boxed-in photo, and clicking on it will link you to that database description.

I haven't figured out how to do this. Any help, please? Thanks.

Oops duh I think I just stumbled on how to do it. It's the DB code associated with each picture in the database, right? Doh! Rolling my eyes.

Except that while this shows a particular database picture (and who posted the picture), it links ONLY to that picture, and not to the plant's database entry itself. So I still need some help there... (unless there is a separate db_x tag that links to the database entry, and one particular photo is always fixed to that).

Off to check!

Ok, I figured out the link to the database page...

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Pink Fanfare')

But that gives me the page, not a boxed image which links to that database page... so I am still missing something...

Actually, look again. You'll see the name of the plant above the thumbnail, and that name is a link to the plant's database entry.

Could the above-mentioned codes for images and DB links be added to the BB Code help page?
