I have success growing my Amaryllis in clay rocks and gel beads in a glass container..and looking at my Cyclamen..seems like a good candidate to similar method..so yesterday I repotted my Cyclamen in similar type of glass container.
Before repot: as it stayed outdoors in the shady northside of my patio..temps are just so fluctuating, 65F to 100F..
The glass container with no drainage, with the presoaked clay rocks and water gel beads:
So removed and cleaned out the soil from each tuber:
Repotted in the glass container; needs more clay rocks
Added more clay rocks for top dressing:
It is indoors, beside my Hoya shooting star and Phalaenopsis orchids..this is the coolest part of the house right now..cool air in the morning when window is open all morning..ceiling fan breeze in the afternoon..hope that will be enough for the plant. All tubers have leaves..so it is awake. Now to observe the next few days if it will adapt nicely. Will update later on..fingers crossed!
