GREAT SALE FOR NEW GARDENERS OR GARDENERS JUST WANTING TO ADD DAYLILIES

I will be shipping these out June 30th for those who get your order in by Saturday June 28th and have your payment to me by Saturday June 28th. Other ship dates will be the week of July 7 and July 14.

We need to make room for our 2014 seedlings to be planted so we need to get rid of some of our other seedlings. We just can't keep them all.

These will be a variety of colors and may include spider/UFs and full form; dips and tets (I will mark, tag, or separate the dips from the tets somehow so you will know). There is no guarantee what you will get other than some nice garden plants. These will vary in height from 24" to 37" scapes (maybe taller) and the blooms vary from 4" to 7" and the spider/UFs will be larger. I will try and make sure there is a variety of colors in the box. These are full grown, mature, blooming sized plants

You will get about 20-25 fans, more if I can get them in there (may come as single fans, double fans, triple fans) for $45 (REMEMBER THIS INCLUDES SHIPPING) and will be shipped in large flat rate boxes. The price is a little higher this year but the shipping rates have increased. These will not be tagged with color, form, or crosses.
NOTE: there are 3 growers that I am selling seedlings from and we all keep track of crosses differently and I cannot run back and forth and wait around to find out crosses when digging these to ship. IF THEY HAVE THE CROSSES MARKED WITH THE PLANT I WILL SEND THE CROSS but if not then it will not be marked.

I have included some photos as an example of what may be in the boxes, this DOES NOT quarantee that these will be what is in the box. You will just be getting a variety.

Payment by check or money order. PAYPAL payments will be taken for a total of $46.65 ($1.65 PP fee added).

TO ORDER PLEASE TREE MAIL ME with how many boxes you want or if you have questions

REMEMBER these are seedlings, NOT named daylilies. Thanks for looking at my sale.

Will they be tagged at all as far as Dips or Tets?

yes they can be tagged as far as dips and tets go; they are separated in the garden. If the plants have a tag cross I will attach it to it but we have 3 growers here that keep track of seedlings differently and I just can't keep going back and forth and waiting on them to go look up the cross when I dig a plant to find out the crosses.

These are gorgeous examples. I'd give each one a name of my own. How long does this sale last? Will we be getting plants that have bloomed already? The yellow daylilies I have are just now budding.

@ lovesblooms Yes you will be getting plants that have already bloomed or was supposed to. We have had so much rain (one day was more than 20" in less than 24 hrs.) that some of these may have scapes that blasted (broke in half) so I didn't get to see a blooms.

In my area most all daylilies have bloomed already. You may get rebloom scapes on these after they are planted since a lot have not sent up their rebloom scapes but not a guarantee.

I will be selling these for a little while. I have 3 ship dates set..... June 30th, week of July 7, and week of July 14. I am also selling locally so we will have to see what I have left after that and I may have another sale sometime in August for early September shipping.

I will want a box then IF you sell more in September or August.
Already spent all my flower money so second box now is out of the question but in August or September I will have saved more to buy another box.

Hello,
How do you think these would perform in a zone 5b garden? I have read on previous posts you have made, that you spray for Rust, does this kill all rust or just suppress it?

Thanks,
Gale

Well, these should do well in a 5b garden but there is no guarantee. I have people as low as zone 3b that buy from me but each plant is different. These survived the awful winter we had and we got down in the single digits for a couple days and had sleet/snow sitting around them for a few days plus numerous freezes all winter.

Yes I do spray for rust. No spray is said to actually kill rust and with living in this area even if it did kill the rust the plants can become reinfected from someone 60 miles away not treating rust. I have not seen rust on any of these seedlings this year and my spray regimen has not been on schedule because of all the rain so I would like to say they do not have rust. If you get really cold winters then it can rid you of any rust also. But if you are really concerned about getting rust I would have to say not to buy any, maybe buy from the other sale going on by bluegrassmom who is from zone 6b in KY The thread "Mixed daylilies, plant the color of the rainbow in your garden! Michele, I have been following the seedling threads and have been very impressed by you and your friends seedlings. From what I have read, Rust would not survive my winters, I'm just curious if my Daylilies became infected, how bad would it affect them, is it possible that they could die? If it doesn't kill them and it won't affect the blooms for a year (I'm just starting to have blooms) and you believe that many (I know you can't guarantee ) will survive, then I would like to try a box, seems like a bargain even if only half make it through the winter.

Thanks.

Michele, I found the tree mail, however, the only message was a welcome from woofie. I may be missing something as I am new here. I clicked on the red envelope in top left corner. Hopefully I can get it figured out tomorrow after work. Thanks for your patience, and answering my questions.
