All the bushes are loaded with buds at varying stages and every night multiple blooms are open.

FYI - I decreased the strength of the flash by 60% so I was able to get details of the blooms .. most digital cameras, except for the very basic have the ability to change the strength of the flash. Comes in handy for white flowers at night.

Thanks! Yeah .. nasty skunky smell - pretty though, from a respectable distance!

Evan, Datura and Brugmansia have very distinct smells/fragrances of which you either love it or hate it .. I'm one of the haters.

I missed it completely, cute. An S. venosum tuber was getting ready to bloom this winter so I potted it up, with some old mix I guess and a wee bitty konjac popped up in the pot. Never stick you're nose in a venosum bloom! It's not strong but blagh...

I've got wee bitty konjacks popping up everywhere in pots ... that's what happens when you reuse soil.

Ooh, my datura is going to bloom tonight, its her first flower since november. I brought her inside to over winter her this past year. So excited.

Two photos from an hour ago when I got home from work.

Beautiful night shot, Anne. I take it you don't have pesky teenagers in your neighborhood looking for something to smoke! Whistling

Lol .. actually I do have teenagers running around the neighborhood but I don't think they know what it is and I'm very diligent about cutting off spent blooms in late morning.
