I could use some help. I have been on a mission to collect all the planet series but am missing 'Mars' . After looking at the data base I'm convinced one that is mark 'Pluto' is really "mars" What do you think.

I think "Mars' is on the left?

@valleylynn @gg5 @Patty Ok so I can't remember any more. Chris, Bev and Kevin

Hi Julia, I don't know anything about either of these semps - sorry...I do know that I've noticed semps often look slightly different as they are at certain stages of growth, so it wouldn't surprise me that some of these chicks look different from others and will change into looking more alike...or as you suggest - maybe its Mars on the left!! Thumbs up I tip my hat to you.

I don't think so Julia. But we can watch it for the next month or two to see if the red increase in/intensifies as summer progresses.

I am just now revisiting this thread.
Julia, if you compare the one on this left in your above photo to see if it looks like Patty's. Patty's 'Pluto' looks to be correct. It does look like it could possibly be 'Pluto'.
The semp to the right side in your photo is neither 'Pluto' or 'Mars'.

this one above is what I have for Pluto. Pluto is much bigger than mars and not as red. Both have more color in winter. These are early summer pics.

Yes, 'Mars' is small, and has a very distinctive form to it.

I only had Mars briefly - didn't survive the rain Thumbs down But it is sort of flattish and definitely different that the usual ones.

Julia, I've got plenty of 'Saturn' if you need some. Are you going to include 'Sirius' or 'Saharasonne' or maybe 'Pacific Blazing Star' in the center for your planets to orbit? 'Gold Nugget' would be good if it would grow enough.
There's no Earth, Jupiter or Venus?
Pluto's not a planet anymore, but I'd include it anyway.

So much good info here but super busy with family this weekend so have not processed everything yet.

Thank you Tim I think I still have Saturn. Yes I did included Pluto because my 70's education still tells me it's a planet. I was just wanting the planets to circle this stained glass sun stepping stone I have. Kind of gave up after finding some of the semps bought were misidentified. Sighing! I might give it another go after bloom season, if there is any semps left. Can not believe the blooms.

I was suppose to get earth from WG but you all know how that went.

It looks like the ones in our database are correct by your description Kevin. Except for this one.

QUESTION: Why isn't 'description' information included in the database?

Great question Tiffany. Many of them don't have an official written description. I just added Kevin's information for 'Pluto' in the database entry.
I think that brings up a good point, maybe we should start writing descriptions on proven ID semps? Some times this can be difficult, as many of them change appearances throughout the seasons.
