Long story why but I had a credit to use or I would not have!!!!!
I ordered Purple Mojo from Springhill, is there such a Semp or is it something they made up? I got a couple of others too, they are all in such sad shape I don't know if they are going to make it but I am a better Semp momma now so I know what to do to try and keep them alive!
Now back to the question...is Purple Mojo real? It is not in the database.

That is a made up Springhill name. It's what they sell Silverine as. However, they might not actually even be true Silverine.
I'm currently dealing with that issue in The thread "Is this Silverine?" in Sempervivum forum

If they sent bad semps to you, contact them and get a reshipment or another credit. I have never had a problem getting them to reship or getting a credit.

Really? I wish they would quit doing that! Now I have to wonder if the other two are correct or not.
The first ones they sent (the Purple Mojo) didn't have any roots on them at all. The ones I got today Red Beauty and Pilioseum have roots but they are so dry I don't see how they will snap out of it.
I hate to keep doing this credit thing but their plants suck! I will be so glad when this whole Springhill experience is done and over there are not even words for it!

If the original purchase wasn't too long ago, you can probably just get a refund. Or if you really raise havoc, you might be able to get a refund regardless of how long ago it was. Sticking tongue out

Loi,

Plant those sempervivum, you will be amazed at how they will root. I think you will have to call them NOIDs. Place them in some well draining soil and mist them with water. When they root you can start to water a bit. So many made up names. If you are really serious about getting semps Check out SMG Succulents, Perennial Obsessions and our very own Goldfinch4 @ the sempervivum patch. If you check out lists of some of the other members that are regulars they have semps for sale as well. May as well get plants from the experts. They send nice plants too.

Springhill Thumbs down Kind of down there with Wayside Gardens.

I know, this isn't my first rodeo and I DO know better!!! I just had a credit and figured they couldn't screw up semps too bad...surprise, they can! No more Springhill for me once this ordeal is over. I have some very nice named semps from Goldfinch and Valleylynn as well as a few others.
I have other NOIDs as well and these can go and live with the others. It just ticks me off that these companies take the liberty to name things willy nilly with no regard to the "rules".

Yep, I just had a go around with sunbreak nursery for just that. Hope you can get your money back. Good luck. Do they sell seed? Oh they could probably mess that up as well. Group hug

Patty, I don't know if you can tell from the picture but it says Silverine under the main name. This was from the package I received from Springhill.

How weird is that with your photo of their packaging J. C.

Lori, I would definitely just think of them as NOIDs. What a bummer. Group hug

Weird...could it be that Purple Mojo is the name of a business? Like "SMG Hen's and Chicks". But it sounds like Springhill is def a place to avoid!

Oh yes! I had one of those with daylilies. I still see him around :whistling:. If anyone's interested I'll T-mail the name. Still no blooms are those plants. Pathetic.
