Make Your Own Moss Pole

A moss pole is the best way to grow plants like Philodendrons and Syngoniums. Moss poles are really pretty simple to make; let me show you.

I added a flat stick in the center of the chicken wire. Drilled a hole in the center of the stick, and a hole on opposite sides at the top of the pot. I then put a doweling through the center of the stick and anchored it in the holes I made at the top of the pot. This gave it some stability. It is 4 feet tall, and now, thanks to your guide, looking much better!
